On the road again

Hi, on the road  across the Nullarbor Plain.  We have  put in quite a few miles, and the temperature  has been about 45 to 47 degrees.  Below is Balladonia Roadhouse where we stopped for the night.  It is the only roadhouse on the plain that has a swimming pool  so we made good use of it!

There is nothing on the plain except roadhouses every few hundred kms.  They all have a "Caravan Park" - and I use the term loosely!- attached, a bit of gravel & a power point. No water available, but we filled our water tank in Perth.

Our dashboard,  right side of the console shows the outside temperature, 45.5 degrees. Our air-conditioning handled it very well. but it got to 46 degrees just after this photo.
