Daly Waters NT

Hi everyone last night we stayed at a little place called Daly Waters, 357 kms south of Katherine.  It is 5 kms off the highway & consists of a pub & campground.  One of the most unusual pubs we have seen. We only stayed 1 night and arrived in Katherine at lunch.

Speed limit- 130 kph, Grae was disappointed we had the caravan behind us.  Roads are a vast improvement over the goat-tracks of QLD

Daly Waters pub- to the left of the sign is a traffic light, permanently red, with a sigh saying the only traffic light in the outback! 

Our caravan parked next to another Kingdom van- they are reasonably rare to see on the road, so it was like meeting long lost friends. In fact, the lady asked to see inside our van, and when she got she realised we had met months ago at Eden in NSW!
