Bindi Bindi

Hi everyone, yesterday we visited Bindi Bindi, the town where my father B J Longman (b 9/11/1916) grew  up. It is in the wheat belt & consists of only a few houses.

War Memorial at Bindi Bindi.

Last name on the Memorial, C. Longman, my uncle Clem.

Bindi Bindi main street- a few houses.

After Bindi we went to Wongan Hills, where my sister used to live. Lake Ninan.

The farmhouse where my sister used to live.

There is a lot of farm machinery on the roads around here, we have often had to pull off the road.

Moora Cemetery - this is the grave of my paternal Grandmother. The inscription reads:
In Memory of our beloved  wife and mother Bridget Longman, died 11th July 1928 Aged 57 years.
Though lost to sight to memory ever dear.
