Mackay and surrounding area

Hi, just had 5 nights in Mackay, north of Rockhampton. I didn't take too many photos there as essentially it is a big town with not a lot of photographic features.  We drove up to the northern beaches, and we've never seen such a low tide before, at least a kilometre out.

Stopped at a small town called Dingo yesterday on the way to Emerald ( directly west of Rockhampton ) for some lunch.  Feeling a bit dwarfed by the road trains. I will post some photos of Emerald in the next couple of days, we are staying in a fantastic caravan park out of town on the lake & dam, one of the friendliest we have been to.
