Beachport

Hi everyone, we have spent the last few days in Beachport, a lovely seaside town on the S.A Limestone Coast, about 30 kms south of Robe. We are having a few problems when loading photos on the blog, for some reason the computer mixes up the order which is really annoying. We spent a day in Robe which is a beautiful town, but it poured rain the whole time, so no photos there. Beachport reminds us of Portarlington on the Bellarine  Peninsula in Vic. The weather has been pretty cold & wet & very windy.

The giant lobster at Kingston SE.

Sculpture of a firefighter ( to commerate  Ash Wednesday ) at the nearby town of Millicent.

Our van next to the lobster to give you an idea how big it is.

Millicent-memorial for road victims; below me on a fan blade from a wind turbine.

Millicent "swimming lake", a big artificial lake in the town.

Nearby town of  Southend, across the bay from Beachport.
