Cairns & Karumba

Hi everyone; we have really enjoyed our stay in Cairns.  The town is a blend of city, jungle & beach.  There are lots of beautiful areas, only half an hour or less drive away.  I did a full day reef cruise, unfortunately my camera went on strike the minute I boarded the ship, so no photos of the day out on the reef pontoon in the outer reef, & my trips on the submersible ship & glass bottomed boat.  About 30 mins drive up in the rainforest mountains is a little village called Karumba (it is where the skytrain ends) really picturesque.

Sunday night in the camp kitchen at our park- two musicians playing while for $8 each we got all the pizza we could eat, & met some lovely people

Grae having a good time!
