Port Hedland

We have been in Port Hedland in northern WA for the last 6 days, after a long 600+ km trip from Broome.  The weather has been high 30's each day, but not as much humidity as Darwin.  PH has a population of about 20,000, it is a big sprawling industrial town with a big port.  We counted 25 tankers lying offshore yesterday, waiting to dock.  Also the longest trains we have seen, each about 2kms long.  Otherwise not too much to see here, very few shops. Our caravan park is on the point and overlooks the salt and scrub plains.  Below is a couple of photos of the sunset from our van.
