Last photos of Albany

Hi, some last photos of Albany.  We left there a few days ago, now in a little town south east of Perth, and will arrive in Perth on the 11/12.  Below is the inside of the of the historic inn "The Earl of Spencer" where had lunch for my birthday.

Old gaol at Albany

Replica of the brig "Amity".  WA's colonial history began with the arrival of Amity in 1826.  It bought the first European settlers to Wa to establish a military post, from Sydney.  The journey lasted 6 weeks & 2 days. On board was a Major, 19 soldiers, 23 convicts, a small staff & the ship's crew & supplies.  The replica was built in the mid 70's to mark the 150 th anniversary of Albany's settlement. It was fascinating having a look around it, especially below decks, incredibly cramped.
