Hi everyone, we have been in Shepparton since last Sunday. We quite like it here although " Shepp" has a very bad reputation. Everyday we have been out & about we have seen at least 5 cop cars around the place. The caravan park we are staying in is very basic but also very peaceful, situated on the Goulburn river & Lake Victoria. The lake is beautiful, the community has planted it with lots of native plants & lots of walking tracks. There is a lot of community pride here. Grae has been up in this district a lot but it is all new to me. I am really enjoying seeing parts of Victoria I have never been to before. I walk around the lake each day. The train line is quite close to us, I enjoy seeing the V Line trains passing by 4 times a day. We are catching up with a few of Grae's cousins this weekend, who live near here. Below are some photos of the local park which is decorated with cows! We will be staying in the general area up here for a few weeks.

Goulburn River, approximately 50 metres from our site, very low levels as not much rain here.

This sign nailed to a tree in the caravan park, not sure how many French tourists they get here.
