Queenscliff and Anglesea

Hi everyone, still at Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria.  We had lunch in Queenscliff a few days ago, below are some photos of the beautiful buildings there. Marine disaster bell pictured below.

Lunch at Anglesea pub yesterday with Mum, (below) as we were leaving this guy ( Wayne) rocked up to the bottleshop on his Clydesdale horse ( Clancy) to buy a can of beer! Lovely bloke, had a nice chat. Has anyone else ever seen a horse in a bottleshop??

More of Portartlington

Hi, we have been here for a few weeks now, & leave after Easter for Anglesea for a month.  Great weather!
The park here on the foreshore is enormous, the majority park their vans here at Christmas & leave them on site until the end of Easter.  So during the week it is fairly quiet, then the camp explodes at the weekends & swarms with people, kids, bikes, etc.  There is a huge amount of boats & jet skis that come out on the weekends, especially this one as it is a long weekend & the weather  is hot. Below is a shot from the beach during the week, as you can see, fairly empty. There is a shot later that shows how busy it gets. It is a really nice atmosphere with families & kids running everywhere.

Don't mess with me!

Having fun on my inflatable shark this morning.

Next to a jet ski, I would love to try one, until then I will make do with my shark!
